Happy first week!

It was so nice to meet new students at Imagine Day, and hopefully some of you are reading this now.

To re-introduce myself, I’m Anabella, the coordinating editor at The Ubyssey. I manage our team, but you’ll be seeing intros from all of our section editors through the year.

Our job is to keep the UBC community informed, but also to help anyone who wants to become a student journalist themselves. So if you’re interested in anything from news, arts, photography and more, come by our office (NEST 2208).

We’ve just published our annual Guide to UBC, a one-stop shop for information on student life. It’s written by a bunch of our contributors and has 60+ articles for first years (or anyone who wants to discover more on campus)!

We’re also back to our weekly schedule, so look out for Dingbat Mail every Thursday through the school year.
