Our connection to natural environments 🌱

Explore nature, climate justice, and more in our latest issue

It’s a new month and a new issue of the Ubyssey, so basically, it’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life. And I hope you’re feeling good — as much as possible, given midterm season and the general state of the world.

This issue’s theme is ‘staying grounded’ - it includes six extra pages of science stories about our natural environments and how we live within them.

From advocacy to incorporate climate justice into environmental sciences curricula to ecological restoration at nearby Camosun Bog, this issue of the Ubyssey is the closest you can get to touching grass without actually getting your hands dirty. Read the whole thing here, or find individual articles at ubyssey.ca/science.
