Articles that find joy without labels

Our new issue is on stands now!

Happy Pride + Indigenous History Month!

Though we’re always striving to spotlight Queer and Indigenous voices at The Ubyssey, this month’s print issue features some particularly interesting stories.

Drag star Anita Wigl’it reflects on her move from down under to Davie Street, and author Joshua Whitehead thinks ahead to a future filled with Two Spirit and Indigiqueer joy. And in two personal essays, writers talk about finding places where they finally felt like they could explore their sexuality or gender identity, without feeling obligated to put labels on themselves.

With that, be sure to pick up a copy of the June issue on stands around campus or online, and take a look at these pieces — and many others — on the Ubyssey website.

Celebrate, educate (yourself and others) and keep slaying!
