…and suddenly, it’s all come to an end!

Our year-in-review issue just dropped. You can find it on stands around campus, or online. It highlights the incredible work that our 200+ contributors, 11 editors and 70 staff members did this year. We published nearly 1,000 articles on our website and released 19 print issues in the last year with a range of incredible, hyperlocal content about UBC and student life.

It’s been an amazing year at The Ubyssey, thanks to the hard work of our staff. This is my final issue, and on a personal note, I want to say thank you for reading our work. I’ve been at The Ubyssey for five years, and this place has not only taught me how to be a journalist — it’s been the centre of my entire university journey. I'm sad to leave, but confident that The Ubyssey will be in great hands.

The Ubyssey is an incredibly special place, and if you’ve ever thought about getting involved, consider this your push to do so. You won’t regret it.

Places to Be: The Admiralty Trail in Pacific Spirit Park

The Admiralty Trail runs along the cliff edge with access to Acadia Beach and Spanish Banks Dog Beach. It is mostly flat with gentle curves, offering a leisurely stroll with views of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore’s mountains on one side and the forest of ferns and various trees on the other.
